This volume contains weekly intelligence summaries compiled by the Intelligence Air Branch of the Royal Air Force on behalf of the Air Ministry during the Second World War. These summaries served to inform officers and government officials about the contemporary political and military situation.
Each summary includes an overview of the major theatres of war, details regarding Axis air operations, and articles covering a wide range of subjects thought to be of interest to airmen, from technical surveys of new aircraft to the psychology of enemy units. The results of Allied bombing raids are also analysed, with a particular focus on damage reporting, civilian morale, and the performance of air and civil defence infrastructure.
Series: Air 22 (Air Ministry: Periodical Returns, Intelligence Summaries and Bulletins).

- Try a different combination of terms and queries to try and match your result.
- Use 'themes' or 'subjects' directly in your search query, e.g. "19th century colonial administration Africa" - 'Africa' being the broad subject.
