This volume consists of gazettes published in Kenya between 1899–1919. Lists of officers, announcements, shipping arrival/departure records, and details of related taxes are present from the first issue. The gazettes cover the ending of the legal status of slavery in 1907. They also contain information relating to the outbreak, course, and consequences of the First World War.
