This volume includes a range of government reports related to public relations and tourism in Southern Rhodesia dated between 1897 to 1980. Detailed Meteorological reports were published from the turn of the century to the outbreak of the Second World War. Thereafter, they are much briefer and the published reports end with the only Federal report, of 1954-1955. The reports upon Publicity; Public Relations; Information, Immigration and Tourism; and the Tourist Board, concern departments which broadly shared the same goal as they sought to counteract negative coverage relating to Southern Rhodesia. Other reports' titles are self-explanatory as they cover statistics, museums, monuments, archives, and libraries.
