This volume includes a range of government reports related to communications in Southern Rhodesia dated between 1896 to 1980. Reports of the Postmaster General were issued from 1896-1969/70 when he was replaced by the Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, which reported from 1970/71 until 1979/80. The Post Office Savings Bank, initially a Federal Body, issued reports from 1954 until 1979/80. The Government Printing and Stationary Department published reports from 1946/47 until 1966/67, including federal reports from 1954/55 until 1961/62.
