The data on prisoners is held in 6, type 2, General Entry Books which cover the period from July 1812 until November 1815. The records from different places cover different time periods: the Cape of Good Hope from November 1812 until April 1815, Gibraltar from August 1812 until February 1815, Jamaica from July 1812 until March 1815, Malta from November 1812 until March 1813, Newfoundland from July 1812 until November 1812, and New Providence from July 1812 until November 1815.
