Collection: Walt Whitman and his Fellowship of Supporters in Bolton, 1891–1913 Volumes Relics & mementos
ZWN/12. These assorted items include images of the 'Loving Cup' presented by J H Johnston of New York, oil paintings of Whitman by Sidney Morse and Sierra Oliva, engravings of Whitman, the watercolour painting 'Rivington Lakes' by A. H. Cooper, Walt Whitman's canary (stuffed and mounted), printing blocks used to create illustrations of Whitman, household items used by Walt Whitman, and assorted memorobilia. These items date from 1889 to 1985.
