Sub-series CA: Official papers which, although not extensive, reflect Clive's involvement in the civil administration of Bengal. They include papers relating to revenue collection, population statistics, currency reform and trade. They derive, for the most part, from Clive's two periods as governor of Bengal, 1758-1760 and 1765-1767, but relate almost exclusively to the latter. Arrangement: In three documents: revenue accounts and reports, 1758, 1765-1766, establishment lists, 1766, papers relating to currency reform and trade, [c.1764]-1766. Extent: 5 vols., 1 envelope.
